How To Prepare for the MCAT - Tom's Story.
Tom was a typical pre-med student at better than average college.
Tom took a very rigorous schedule: Organic Chemistry, Physics, Biology and even advanced Spanish, all Honors courses, and was head of several campus leadership activities. He always tested above average, but always felt like testing held back his potential.
Tom, however, was one of the most ambitious, hardworking students on campus and decided to begin his MCAT preparation early.
And he wanted to become an orthopedic surgeon one day, just like his dad.
So first, Tom searched for Top Medical Schools, found our ranking of the best medical schools, and noted that their new MCAT average/median scores were around a 520. Wow, that's a big time score.
Tom went to work... first putting together a list of "dream" reach medical schools...
Here's where Tom wanted to apply - "reach schools":
Washington University (St. Louis)
... Stanford University
Wow. The Acceptance rates were extremely challenging. How could Tom gain admission?
After researching these schools, Tom realized that in order to get accepted, he would likely have to score in the top 1% percentile, meaning he would have to beat more than 99% of the applicants who applied.
Could he do it?
However, he Tom had only 4 months to prepare, and little test prep guidance... until he met our medical school admissions experts.
...They knew there had to be a better way than just buying some MCAT test prep books online and hoping to study on his own.
Even if he had the motivation, intelligence, and drive to succeed, the MCAT examination was one of the most challenging exams in the world.
....So He found our course on the MCAT.
"The World's BEST MCAT Prep Course" - Wow, Seriously?
Yes, ranked by U.S. News and several education publications.
When Tom's father, Dr. Jonas, called our company, he asked two questions: "how well does your MCAT prep work?" and, "how soon could we get started with your MCAT tutors?"..."And what score does my son need to get accepted to medical school?"
We actually got the same questions as we typically receive for other exams, but there was a sense of urgency, which we understood. After all, the MCAT exam is the most important exam that any student had throughout their academic "careers."
Ok, so you're wondering... of course, this is the part where you tell us how great your program is and how within X days he got an 100% increase in his score.... wrong!
In fact, Tom struggled on the first MCAT practice exam. When he enrolled in our MCAT prep program, he took more than 4 practice exams before seeing any meaningful increase in his MCAT scores.
Here's an Honest (and Interesting fact) about OUr MCAT prep:
More than 498 students (last year) have taken our MCAT course and it took on average more than 3.5 weeks before students saw a 10% increase in their MCAT scores.
Why are we telling you this?
Because our client satisfaction and MCAT results are the highest in the industry, and you need to know it does take time... but we ALWAYS get the job done, right.
When you get accepted, like Kris did, to the best colleges... because of our MCAT prep and your hard work, you'll never forget the people and MCAT tutors who helped you prepare. That's another fact that we've seen many times as we prepare students for the SAT examination.
Now here's another fact about our MCAT prep:
Once Kris took the MCAT exam, he increased his scores by 33 percentiles going from a 66 percentile to a 99 percentile on the MCAT.
We'll tell you in a little bit about how he accomplished such an amazing feat: to get a near perfect score on the MCAT and to gain admission to 13 medical schools.
...And now, you're wondering, what worked to increase his MCAT scores?
Here's what he knew, that you now know about the MCAT exam.
How'd Tom increase his MCAT score to the Top 1%?
The simple answer for pre-medical students?
Hard work. Amazing tutors. Tons of effort on all sides.
After Tom took 13 practice MCAT exams, more than 8,800 MCAT practice questions, and all of his 1080 minutes of private MCAT tutoring, he beat the odds of a near perfect MCAT score. But it wasn't luck, it was again... hard work and by taking our "World's Best MCAT Course" - see below how to sign up for this MCAT course..
